Downtown Neenah will host the 9th annual Warm Your Heart event on February 11, 2023 from 11:00 am-3:00 pm. Many Downtown businesses will offer samples of warm foods, beverages and snacks to attendees as part of a one day event to encourage exploring Downtown Neenah merchants.
In addition to providing warm food to nourish participants’ appetites, the event is encouraging individuals to warm their soul as well – bring a donation of canned meats and canned stews (current/not expired with pull top lids) and/or hygiene and paper products for Double Portion. If you do, you’ll receive a voucher for additional specials or discounts at the downtown businesses that day. Double Portion provides lunchtime meals three times a week for those in need as well as a pantry full of food staples and personal care items.
This well-attended event has sold out the last few years and space is limited to 300. Registration is available by contacting Future Neenah at 920-722-1920 or visiting their website at neenah.org. Cost of the event is $23 and includes a unique made-in-Neenah ceramic Sunset Hill Stoneware mug that will be used as your ‘ticket’ to take to participating businesses and fill up with something warm and delicious.
Free parking is available in the Church Street ramp on Saturdays.
