What do you most enjoy about working in the Fox Cities?
I enjoy how new things are popping up every day. There are new businesses being started up, festivals, and music concerts. The business community is very supportive of young professionals and there are many mentorship opportunities available if you are looking for a mentor.
Why did you become a member of the Fox Cities Chamber?
I joined the Fox Cities Chamber because I wanted to make connections with people. I stay an ambassador because I love being a champion and supporter of the community and celebrating economic growth.
Please share your favorite/most impactful moment as a Fox Cities Chamber Ambassador.
Each ribbon cutting is memorable to me because a business owner or small business is celebrating their growth, an expansion, or new business venture and it is so much fun to learn about their journey.
How do you help make the member experience an impactful experience at the Fox Cities Chamber?
I encourage all of the new members that I speak with to get involved in something. This may include attending the business after hours, morning mingle, sign up for the educational panels, or find a committee to be a part of. The chamber has so many programs and opportunities to build your business and grow as a person. You just have to do a little bit of work.
Do you have any advice for someone considering joining the Fox Cities Chamber?
Joining is only the first step. You have to make a conscious effort to get involved early on and the rest just becomes natural.
