This membership-based network targets young professionals in the Fox Cities and provides programs and services to expand their network, form new friendships, and pursue fresh ideas for strengthening our community. Monthly events include social outings, community engagement experiences, and career/professional development opportunities. Six volunteer committees serve Pulse, and membership is free.
The Fox Cities Chamber is providing free, quarterly Grow Seminars. These sessions are informative, interactive, and leave attendees with several takeaways they can implement immediately to help grow their business, organization, or personal selves.
Stay current with a series of events focused on how our government is at work in the Fox Cities business community. "CEO of the City" featuring the region's mayors is a popular offering, and a federal update is typically provided as well. These events are a great resource and connection point for our members.

You won’t want to miss the Fox Cities’ most fun golf event, the Chamber’s Octoberfest Golf Outing! Raise your steins (and your golf clubs!) to raise funds and have a blast along the way. The Octoberfest Golf Outing returns to High Cliff Golf Course on Thursday, September 19th with a 10 AM shotgun start.
Classic cars, great local food, and live music will make College Avenue the place to be on Sept. 29. An average of more than 100,000 community members are drawn to this alcohol-free event each year, where they can check out more than 400 vintage rides on display.
Food, fun, and philanthropy have defined Appleton’s Octoberfest for more than four decades. Since its inception in 1981, Appleton’s Octoberfest has reinvested nearly $3 million in local businesses and nonprofit organizations — making it a cornerstone of our community. More than 200,000 attendees say “Prost!” to this tradition each year.
The PULSE Young Professionals Network is back for another Professional Development event. Join us as four local, influential women take the stage to talk about their experiences, challenges, rewards and surprises they’ve encountered as women in leadership positions. Men and women alike are invited to join and learn from each other during a morning of learning, growing and inspiration.
Science is cool. So are technology, engineering, and math. And when our community rallies around getting girls excited about STEM, the results really rock. This day-long, interactive mentoring event connects the Fox Cities science and tech community with girls who are freshmen and sophomores in area high schools. Smart Girls Rock! is designed to inspire students’ interest in STEM careers and provide them the academic and career planning guidance they need to get where they want to go.
