What do you most enjoy about working in the Fox Cities?
The Fox Cities has a small town feel, but big city amenities. The people here are very friendly and easy to get to know. The business climate is also very friendly where everyone tries to support the local small business owner.
Why did you become a member of the Fox Cities Chamber?
After attending a large, multi Chamber event the first time, where I didn’t know anyone, I wanted to help others in that same awkward position. Being an ambassador allows me to meet new members and introduce them to other business owners when they attend events.
Please share your favorite/most impactful moment as a Fox Cities Chamber Ambassador.
Helping other Chamber members make connections that will help their business succeed. Having those connections and being able to use that information to help other small business owners is a great feeling.
Also being on the Board of Directors allows me to speak for the small business owners in the area. They don’t often get a voice in organizations like the Chamber, so being able to help them is very satisfying.
How do you help make the member experience an impactful experience at the Fox Cities Chamber?
By inviting business owners to the Chamber and helping them navigate the member benefits when needed. Helping them meet other like minded business owners at after hours events and celebrating new businesses at ribbon cuttings.
Do you have any advice for someone considering joining the Fox Cities Chamber?
Getting involved in your community is always a good thing! Being a member of the Ambassador team allows me to promote the Chamber and all of the benefits it offers business in the Fox Valley. If someone is looking to become more involved in the community, becoming an Ambassador should definitely be on their list!
