Sam Statz, Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction, Inc. President/Owner, has joined the YMCA of the Fox Cities Corporate Board following 13 years on the Appleton YMCA Board. Statz served as local board president from 2019-2021.
While a member of the local board, Statz helped navigate the construction of the new parking ramp downtown, the integration of the U.S. Venture project next door, and helped guide the overall vision of the use of the YMCA of the Fox Cities space. Statz will serve a three-year term on the YMCA Corporate Board.
“It has been an honor to serve on the Y board and to be a part of the team that has helped shape the future of the Appleton Downtown YMCA,” said Statz. “My time there has shown me just how important the YMCA is to the wellbeing and strength of our community. I am looking forward to continuing my board tenure at the corporate level.”
