SBA Wisconsin upcoming webinars for small businesses

The SBA Wisconsin District Office has a couple of upcoming webinars for small business owners.

Thursday, January 25th, 10-11am
Fair Labor Standards Act – Who is Exempt?
The U.S. Department of Labor-Wage and Hour Division (WHD) receives questions from a lot of employers on the topic of exemptions. More specifically, which employees are exempt from overtime, and how is that determination made?  This webinar session will provide important guidance on which employees are exempt from overtime and the factors used by WHD to make those determinations. This critical information will help employers avoid misclassifying non-exempt employees, who must be paid overtime, from overtime exempt workers. As a bonus, the webinar will also include a ‘refresher’ on other important wage and hour workplace issues common in most businesses!
Guest Presenter Corey Walton, US Department of Labor – Wage and Hour Division
