Appleton Downtown, Inc.’s annual Death by Chocolate walk takes place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This annual event features scrumptious chocolate treats from 20 Downtown businesses; 10 on each route including the West route and the East route. Tickets for each route are $25 apiece and are available on the Appleton Downtown, Inc. website at www.appletondowntown.org/shop-adi/ or at our office, located at 333 W. College Ave, Suite 100. Tickets are limited and are selling quickly, so it’s best to purchase early.
Death by Chocolate is a fun and unique opportunity to explore Downtown Appleton while sampling chocolate treats from our businesses. The participating Downtown businesses take great care to present participants with decadent samples of cakes, bars, cookies, or whatever chocolate creation they dream up. Death By Chocolate is a heartwarming experience for everyone who loves chocolate. It attracts couples enjoying a romantic afternoon date and groups of friends and families.
“This annual event is one that a lot of people look forward to” says Abby Novak, Marketing Director for Appleton Downtown, Inc. “People love to incorporate it into their Valentine’s Day traditions whether it’s with a significant other, friends or family, it’s something that almost anyone can enjoy if you’ve got a sweet tooth.” says Novak.
A new feature this year is a retail discount to Death by Chocolate participants. Simply show your ticket at select retailers to receive the discounts. This is a great way to snag that last minute gift for that special person in your life right before Valentine’s Day happening a few days later.
