The AbbyBank Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce a $10,000 towards the expansion of their building. With a weekly outreach serving over 7,000 individuals, the current 20,000 square foot facility has become insufficient to meet the community’s needs. The planned addition will provide crucial space for programming, group volunteers, and continued support for pantry clients.
This expansion is essential to accommodate the growing demand for services, particularly in their Backpack and Food Farmacy Programs. Additionally, it will enable the organization to cultivate more fresh produce using their hydroponic units, establish confidential spaces for families in need, and accommodate larger volunteer groups.
The AbbyBank Foundation was formed in 1986 as a private charitable foundation of AbbyBank, which has contributed over $1,730,300 to the foundation. Since 1986, the foundation has made donations to Abbotsford, Appleton, Gresham, Medford, Shawano, Wausau, Weston, and neighboring area organizations totaling over $1,351,978.03.
