Appleton Parks and Recreation- Glow in the Park Event!

We are gearing up for our 4th annual Glow in the Park event at Appleton Memorial Park.  This year’s event is being held on Friday, October 13 from 6:00- 9:00pm.

This family-friendly Halloween event is geared towards 2-8 year olds and their families.  The event has sold out quickly each year with 350-400 people coming through and having a hauntingly good time.  There will be a Halloween themed story on our StoryWalk which will be decorated and lit up for families to enjoy.  We will also be building jack-o-lanterns, snapping photos at a festive selfie station, enjoying treats, and the event ends at the Pumpkin Patch Bash where groups will set up stations for participants to play games and win treats.

We are looking for businesses and organizations to get involved in a couple different ways.  One option would be to participate in the Pumpkin Patch Bash.  Your business or organization would come up with a carnival type game to play at the space and table we will provide for you.  Families will stop at your table and you will be able to offer any information about your business/organization while the kiddos play the game.  (We are happy to offer game suggestions if needed).

Another option to get involved is to make a donation! We can use bags of candy and items to put in the goodie bags.  If you don’t have time to get anything, we will also take monetary donations to help us purchase those supplies and treats.

Please reach out to me at [email protected] or call at 920-832-3926 if you are willing to be involved with Glow in the Park.. We would love to have you help us offer another great event to our community!
