Fox Valley Area High School Student Glass Exhibition

In the continuing effort to encourage the creativity of talented young artists, Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass proudly presents the 2023 Fox Valley Area High School Glass Exhibition. After creating glass art in the classroom and in the museum Glass Studio, students have the opportunity to share their work in the public setting of the museum. “Each school was introduced to a different form of glass art and the students took the tools we gave them and really ran with it. They were able to express themselves through their glass art and were very excited and engaged while at the museum” enthused Kourtney Kositzke, Museum Education and Community Program Manager.

Two related events are scheduled over the course of the exhibition: an Opening and Awards Presentation from 6-8 pm, February 23, 2023; and a special edition of the museum’s continuing Art After Dark program entitled “Sweet Celebration of Youth Art” from 5:30-8:30 pm, March 23, 2023. Both events are free and open to the public. “It is an honor for Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass to partner with 15 of our community schools and present their student’s achievements as part of our exhibition program. We look forward to this partnership every year,” comments Amy G. Moorefield, Executive Director.

Exhibition award sponsorships supported in part by the Lilian Noble Memorial Fund, Oshkosh Fine Arts Association, Jack Richeson & Co., The Art Haus, and Mud and Prints, LLC.
