The Winnebago County Register of Deeds Office is seeking businesses to participate in their Honor Rewards Program. The program allows Veterans to receive discounts and benefits from local businesses and retailers (within Winnebago County). This service is being made available at no cost to veterans, participating businesses, or taxpayers. Each business can decide what discount or benefit they will offer participating Veterans. The Winnebago Register of Deeds serves Winnebago County Veterans by recording and safeguarding military discharge certificates (DD-214’s) as well as working with the County Veterans Service Office to provide Vital Records to veterans and their families if needed. Veterans enroll in the program either online or in the Register of Deeds office and then receive a membership card listing their name, address, military branch, and years of service.
Businesses interested in participating in the program can enroll online by visiting www.honorrewards.com. They can also contact the Winnebago County Register of Deeds directly by calling 920-232-3390 or emailing [email protected]. Participating businesses will be listed on the Winnebago County Honor Rewards website and will be regularly mentioned in email blasts to current Honor Rewards members. In addition, businesses will be provided with promotional materials like door stickers and flyers to promote their involvement in the program.
