Did you know we have 3 committees that work to bring amazing opportunities to PULSE and the YPs of the Fox Cities? Take a look at what they do, and if you think you might like to get more involved and join one, send Jodie an email.
The engagement committee acts as ambassadors for PULSE out in the community. The main goal for this committee is to provide opportunities to give back through running campaigns and drives to providing man power to local organizations. Here, volunteering is the main focus along with exposure to various groups and non-profits in the area. So far, this group has helped the Community Clothes Closet, Heckrodt Wetland Reserve, and Adopt-a-Family while also putting on our Coffee & Conversation events to engage our members.
The social committee focuses on network building and connection. Through their efforts and events, members of PULSE have the opportunity to connect with each other, local businesses, and community. The goal is to create an open and welcoming environment for all while crating strong connections from which to build. This committee plans fun, lively and active events to get people engaged such as the mini golf outing, axe throwing, holiday happy hour, and more!
The professional development committee works to provide opportunities for PULSE members to better themselves through learning and experience. With the programming created, members can gain access to knowledge, mentors, and new ways of conducting themselves and business. The goal is to provide what our young professionals need to grow and flourish in their current roles while laying the groundwork for advancement or new opportunities. Events by the PD committee include the Lunch ‘n Learn, Women in Leadership Breakfast, and CEO Breakfast.
