What do you most enjoy about working in the Fox Cities?
I enjoy working in the Fox Cities community because it provides a strong sense of belonging, comfort, and personal fulfillment that stems from my history here. Growing up in the area means that the local customs, landmarks, and social dynamics are an integral part of my personal history and identity. I have strong, existing relationships with family, friends, and business owners in the community, and the Fox Cities area is known for offering opportunities for people to get involved and make a difference, regardless of their employer’s size.
Why did you become a member of the Fox Cities Chamber?
In 2019, I carried on the torch for Kelly Raddant. I wanted to actively engage in Chamber events like Morning Mingles, Business After Hours, and seminars to meet peers and leaders face-to-face, which helps build deeper relationships and contribute to the community.
Please share your favorite/most impactful moment as a Fox Cities Chamber Ambassador.
As an Ambassador, I served as a greeter at Sure Dry’s Business After Hours Event. My favorite moment was that I was amazed at how many people I knew at this networking event. My takeaway was valuable networking connections, new business leads, insights into the local market, increased visibility for my own company, potential partnerships, and a better understanding of the Chamber’s advocacy and resources, all within a relaxed, informal setting at a host member’s business.
How do you help make the member experience an impactful experience at the Fox Cities Chamber?
As an Ambassador, I make member experiences impactful by serving as friendly greeters, facilitators of connections, advocates for member needs, and promoters of chamber events. By helping new members feel welcome and experienced members stay engaged, it ultimately builds a stronger, more collaborative local business community through personal relationships and support.
Do you have any advice for someone considering joining the Fox Cities Chamber?
My advice is that there are numerous benefits to joining the Fox Cities Chamber.
Increased Credibility & Visibility: Consumers are more likely to trust and spend with Chamber members, signaling a respected, established business within the community.
Networking & Connections: Access events, mixers, and a network of like-minded professionals, potential clients, and industry leaders.
Community Engagement: Connect with local government and partners to improve the quality of life and business environment in the Fox Valley.
