McMahon showcases its commitment to community by inspiring high school girls to explore engineering and architecture with Fox Cities Chamber event
McMahon, a full-service, professional engineering and architectural firm, is pleased to announce its support for the Fox Cities Chamber’s Smart Girls Rock! event, a day-long, interactive initiative aimed at helping female high school students get excited about careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
This sponsorship is one of many community initiatives McMahon is a part of this year. In 2023, McMahon financially supported numerous community events or organizations, demonstrating a commitment to bettering the communities it serves.

Jill Fitzsimons, a senior electrical engineer at McMahon, has represented McMahon at the Smart Girls Rock! event for several years. As a female engineer at McMahon’s Wisconsin office, she values the importance of community programming that sets an example for future generations of young women interested STEM-related careers.
“It is crucial for young women interested in the engineering field to have access to role models and resources that show them it is possible to succeed in this industry as a woman,” said Fitzsimons. “By actively supporting events like Smart Girls Rock!, we are helping to build a workforce that is more diverse, innovative and capable of solving the complex problems of the future.”
