On Saturday, December 31, the Building for Kids Children’s Museum (BFKCM) will be hosting BFK New Year sponsored by First Impressions Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. The BFKCM will be ringing in the New Year with fun, family activities planned throughout the day.
The BFKCM will celebrate the New Year with ball drops, confetti tosses, and parades around the museum at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm.
“New Year at the Building for Kids is a great way to welcome 2023 with the whole family,” said Oliver Zornow, Executive Director of the BFKCM. “If you have kids (or even adults) who won’t quite make it until midnight, we’ve got you covered with all of the fun and excitement of midnight at various times throughout the day.”
In addition, the BFKCM will be hosting New Year themed activities throughout the museum. Families can make their own noise makers and hats in the Studio and can replicate famous architecture from around the world and build their own ball drop in the Innovation Lab.
“The BFKCM is a tremendous organization, diligently working to enlighten and enrich the minds of kids in our shared community, a commendable focus on the future that we, too, prioritize in all we do,” said Breanna Clifford, Marketing & Community Relations Manager of First Impressions. “On behalf of all of us at First Impressions, we are so thrilled to partner with the Building for Kids, and we sincerely look forward to what’s sure to be an amazing BFK New Year!”
The BFKCM has been inspiring discovery and building resilience through intergenerational play-based learning and exploration of the arts, sciences, and humanities since 1992. For more information about the BFKCM, including its programs and events, visit www.buildingforkids.org.
