Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction announces Sure-Dry Shoutout Board for participants along the full and half marathon courses

The Community First Fox Cities Marathon Presented by Miron Construction is excited to provide a new way to motivate Community First Fox Cities Marathon and ThedaCare Half Marathon participants during the final stretch of the course with the Sure-Dry Shoutout Board. The Sure-Dry Shoutout Board will feature videos of loved ones and community members cheering on participants to help get them through one of the toughest portions of the full and half marathons.

“When you get down to those final few miles, it’s easy to feel like giving up. But when you can see someone you love encouraging you to keep going, it gives you that extra push to get to the finish line,” explained race director, Julie Johnson. “I was so excited to have Sure-Dry step up and want to sponsor this shoutout board because it can really make a huge difference for participants that day.”

This is the first year a shoutout board will be used on the course. It will be positioned near one of the toughest portions of the course and what many race participants call “The Wall” near Arrowhead Park in Neenah.

“We understand how important a little encouragement can be, especially for those working hard to complete something like a full or a half marathon,” explained Jamie Budiac, Sure-Dry general manager. “We’re excited to support the community and to be sponsoring the Sure-Dry Shoutout Board this year! We can’t wait to see the reactions of the participants when they pass it on the course.”
