2023 Ethics in Business Summit to Showcase Renowned Authors of “Leading with Care in a Tough World”

The 2023 Ethics in Business Summit is set to engage the Northeast Wisconsin business community as it brings together esteemed authors of the book “Leading with Care in a Tough World” to explore the intersection of ethics and leadership in today’s challenging business landscape. Samaritan is proud to partner with more than a dozen sponsors to offer the Summit, taking place Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Bridgewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center in Neenah. Proceeds from the annual event improve community health by underwriting access to mental health care for all individuals through the work of Samaritan.

“Ethics in Business is an important fund raiser for Samaritan, but it’s also a valuable seminar for the business community. Moral injury in the workplace is costly and counterproductive. We are living and working in a very different environment than we were a few short years ago. The summit is a time to reflect on how leaders impact the culture and strength of their team,” said Samaritan Executive Director Rosangela Berbert.

The Ethics in Business Summit aims to shed light on the crucial role of ethics in the world of business and leadership. As organizations navigate complex challenges and evolving societal expectations, the summit provides a platform for thought leaders, business executives, and professionals to gain insights, share experiences, and chart a path towards more responsible and ethical business practices. Keynote speakers and authors of the highly acclaimed book “Leading with Care in a Tough World,” Bob DeKoch and Phillip Clampit, will lead the discussions, drawing from their extensive expertise and experience in the fields of ethics, business, communications, and leadership. Their practical strategies featuring 5 guiding beliefs and 9 day-to-day practices will inspire attendees to redefine leadership paradigms.

After attending the Ethics in Business Summit, participants will be able to: assess their current leadership strengths, opportunities, and gaps; develop action plans to address their personal opportunities and gaps; and assist their organizations in improving the leadership climate to be grounded in ethical values and enhance the mental wellness of the organization.
