I am excited to be back with the Fox Cities Magazine! I describe myself as a Community Connector because I love bringing people and businesses together. Fox Cities Magazine has been the region’s premier life style magazine for more than 40 years, connecting readers with the people, businesses, and stories that make our community special. In addition to our monthly magazine, we proudly publish the annual Fox Cities Dining Guide, Fox Cities City Guide, Oshkosh City Guide, De Pere City Guide, Ovation, Forward Fox Cities, Travel Calumet and the Fox West Business Directory, helping connect readers with local businesses and experiences throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Every day, I have the opportunity to help local businesses tell their stories, build their brands, and connect with the people who make the Fox Cities such a vibrant place to live, work, and play. It’s incredibly rewarding to play a small part in helping our community thrive.
What do you most enjoy about working in the Fox Cities?
What I enjoy most about working in the Fox Cities is the people. There’s a genuine sense of community here – people are welcoming, supportive, and truly want to see each other succeed. I also appreciate the incredible opportunities our area offers, from thriving businesses and outstanding healthcare to great restaurants, entertainment, and community events. The Fox Cities is a wonderful place to build a career, raise a family and have gun, and I’m grateful to be part of it..
Why did you become a member of the Fox Cities Chamber?
I became a member of the Fox Cities Chamber because I believe strong communities are built through relationships. The Chamber brings together people who are passionate about supporting local businesses, giving back, and making the Fox Cities an even better place to live and work. Being involved allows me to build meaningful connections while serving the community I love.
Please share your favorite/most impactful moment as a Fox Cities Chamber Ambassador.
One of my most impactful moments as a Fox Cities Chamber Ambassador was attending the Theisen’s ribbon cutting and grand opening. Seeing how deeply Theisen’s is committed to giving back to the communities they serve truly touched my heart. Seeing the Webb brothers from Krueger True Value at the event and learning how Theisen’s will continue to serve the community in a very similar way reminded me what makes the Fox Cities so special. It’s a community built on strong values, generosity, and people who genuinely care about making a difference. Moments like that reaffirm why I’m proud to be both a Chamber Ambassador and a Community Connector.
How do you help make the member experience an impactful experience at the Fox Cities Chamber?
I strive to make every member interaction meaningful by listening first. I take the time to understand their goals, share ideas, and connect them with opportunities that can truly benefit their business. My approach is always genuine – I only recommend what I would do myself. I want every member to fee supported, valued, and confident that I have their best interests at heart.
Do you have any advice for someone considering joining the Fox Cities Chamber?
My advice is simple: get involved right away! Attend Chamber events, introduce yourself, and start building relationships. The more you participate, the more you’ll get out of your membership. The Fox Cities Chamber is full of welcoming people who genuinely want to help each other succeed, so don’t be afraid to jump in and make connections.
