“I was motivated to become a Champion of Young Professionals because I’m passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and creating meaningful opportunities for growth early in their careers. I’ve experienced firsthand how mentorship, hands-on experience, and a supportive environment can build confidence and drive long-term success. At Touchmark on West Prospect, I’m fortunate to work alongside a leadership team that includes talented young professionals, and I take great pride in helping them grow their skills, gain confidence, and advance in their careers.”

At Touchmark, we are intentional about creating pathways for young professionals to grow and succeed. We offer structured leadership development opportunities, including Touchmark’s Management Associate Program, which provides hands-on experience across multiple departments.
We also encourage participation in community-based programs through the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, such as Pulse Young Professionals and Business After Hours networking events. Our leadership team is actively involved in professional development, with team members who are Leadership Fox Cities alumni and participants in the Chamber’s Leader Lab program, and we consistently encourage others to pursue these opportunities.
In addition, we engage with emerging talent through local career fairs and outreach to high school and college students. What truly sets us apart is our culture—one where leaders are committed to mentoring others and supporting both personal and professional growth.

Young professionals bring a valuable combination of energy, curiosity, and fresh perspective. In our community, they contribute innovative ideas that challenge us to think differently and continuously improve. Their enthusiasm enhances team culture and resident engagement, while their desire to learn drives both personal and organizational growth.
They also bring diverse perspectives that lead to more creative problem-solving. Just as importantly, they represent the future of our organization, with the potential to grow into strong, compassionate leaders over time.
Young professionals play an important role in helping us advance both our mission and our long-term vision. At Touchmark, we are passionate about introducing senior living as a meaningful and rewarding career path to individuals who may not have previously considered it. By engaging young professionals early, we are able to build awareness and inspire future leaders in our field.
We are also committed to promoting from within whenever possible, and young professionals help us build a strong internal pipeline of talent. Their energy, adaptability, and comfort with new ideas and technology support our efforts to continuously improve operations and enhance the resident experience.
Ultimately, they help us foster a culture that is engaged, forward-thinking, and centered on growth both for our team members and for the community as a whole.
We will continue to support young professionals by staying intentional about their development and creating meaningful opportunities for growth. This includes investing in mentorship and coaching, expanding hands-on learning experiences, and continuing to build clear career pathways within our community.
We will also encourage involvement in leadership development programs and local networking opportunities, while supporting continuing education and skill development. Just as importantly, we will maintain a culture where new ideas are welcomed, achievements are recognized, and team members feel supported in both their personal and professional goals.
By doing so, we can ensure that young professionals not only succeed—but thrive—as part of our team.
