VPI, Inc. to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Community Programs Collective

Event Scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, at 10:00 a.m.

VPI, Inc. announces the grand opening of their Community Programs Collective, a transformative new space designed to expand their community programs and services, and enhance support for individuals with disabilities in the community. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 12, at 10 a.m. at their new facility located at 2350 N. Casaloma Dr. Appleton, WI 54913.

The new Community Programs Collective allows VPI to serve more than 100 additional individuals each year through expanded day services, offering enhanced programming and greater access to support and the community in a more inclusive and accessible environment.

The facility features a dedicated classroom for education and school-to-work transition programs, providing students with the skills and experience they need for future employment. A new training kitchen supports skill-building and greater independence, while the expanded adult day services space offers more opportunities for social connection and personal growth. A new addition to VPI’s Early Intervention Birth to 3 Program, that serves Outagamie and Winnebago counties, is the Family Support Center—a safe and reliable space where families facing housing instability receive services they might otherwise go without.

“This new space reflects our unwavering commitment to removing barriers and providing opportunities for everyone in our community,” said Tim Riebau, president and CEO of VPI, Inc. “The Community Programs Collective allows us to reach more people, offer more comprehensive support, and create a truly inclusive environment where individuals can thrive.”

Media representatives are invited to attend to interview VPI leaders, supporting partners, and VPI clients as they celebrate this milestone.

PHOTO/VISUAL/INTERVIEW OPPS: Photographers and videographers are asked to arrive no later than 9:40 a.m. and to check in with reception in the main lobby. VPI staff will be available to show you where equipment can be set up and where the ribbon cutting ceremony will take place.
