Verve, a Credit Union, has earned a spot on the 2022 Best Credit Unions to Work For list, awarded by the American Banker and Best Companies Group. For six years running, Verve has been recognized for the strength of its organizational practices and culture.
To be considered for inclusion on this list, Verve completed a two-part submission process. Part one, worth 25% of the total evaluation, scored Verve on its workplace policies, practices, and demographics. Part two, worth 75% of the total evaluation, measured the employee experience through a randomly selected and anonymously submitted employee survey. Combined, these scores earned Verve a place on this distinguished list.
“To be recognized on such a prominent stage for the care and concern we have for our team is truly an honor,” said Kevin J. Ralofsky, president and CEO of Verve. “People need to feel like they are doing good work for a good cause. That is the heart of an engaged, empowered workplace. I couldn’t be prouder of the authenticity, expertise, and energy with which our team serves every day.”
For Verve, an intentional focus on the individual through a defined culture begins in the onboarding process and is supported through monthly one-on-one coaching, servant leadership culture tools, consistent and purposeful communication, leadership development, and a robust wellbeing program.
“This award affirms the care and intention we put into cultivating a culture where all team members feel valued and can be their best selves,” said Karrie Drobnick, chief operating officer at Verve. “We know that an engaged team is inspired to do great things for each other, our members, and community, and we’re so happy to see our team members feel the same way.”
