The Fox Valley has many treasures and one of our gems is The Hope Clinic & Care Center in Menasha. The Stand Up For Hope Comedy Event will bring plenty of laughs to the Fox Valley while raising funds for this non-profit clinic that provides a broad spectrum of free medical services to our community’s residents.
Stand Up for Hope Comedy Event is open to the public and will take place Friday September 6, 2024 in Appleton. The event’s organizers are excited to announce comedian Fred Klett as the headliner. Klett’s recent Dry Bar special has amassed 70 million online views. In addition to comedy, there will be games, heavy hors d’oeuvres, coffee, and desserts.
Klett’s resume includes TV credits at Showtime, A & E, NBC, ABC. Comedy Channel, Dry Bar, and TBN’s #1 rated The Huckabee Show. He has toured nationally with Kansas, performed with Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, and Craig Ferguson, and performed internationally on elite cruise ships in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, St. Lawrence Seaway, Inner Alaska Passage, Australia/New Zealand, Fiji, Russia, and the Antarctic.
Aman Sinha responded to Klett’s Dry Bar special with “There are just two comedians I never get tired of watching. One is Bill Burr while the other is, obviously, Fred Klett”.
