RGL Logistics has been named a PULSE Champion of Young Professionals (YPs) by the Fox Cities Chamber. This designation recognizes employers who pledge to provide support and a positive work environment for YPs within their company.
RGL Logistics, the “What if” logistics company, is a full-warehousing, distribution and transportation management company that has been in business for 120 years. Headquartered in Green Bay, with offices in Appleton and Neenah, they work with shippers and carriers throughout the United States to provide new ideas that move logistics forward.
The culture at RGL Logistics is one that captivates and retains young talent. Leadership and teammates alike are supportive, invested, and helpful toward each other, pushing YPs to explore, learn, and grow.
“As YPs, you have a voice at RGL Logistics and the leadership embraces our views, thoughts and suggestions,” said Carley Degrand, Sales and Marketing Coordinator at RGL Logistics. “The company size allows for a community feel with flexibility and understanding. It feels personal and everyone is there to help others.”
Recognizing the importance of teammate health and wellness, and to help support the busy lifestyles of their YP’s, RGL Logistics offers a free clinic to their staff and families at two locations, offering preventative care, labs, physical therapy, and more. In addition, the human resources department at RGL Logistics works hard to follow emerging market trends to keep benefits relative and competitive.
“As a young professional, it’s a journey, and those at RGL Logistics are all about helping their teammates learn and move to find their niche,” said Degrand. “Leadership recognizes teammate ability and accomplishments and works to help them move and succeed throughout the company.”
Any Fox Cities company can apply to be classified as a PULSE Champion of Young Professionals and pledge to provide support and a positive work environment for YPs within their company.
“Without our area young professionals and those that support them, the ability for the Fox Cities to grow and thrive would be limited,” said Jodie Federwitz, Director, Fox Cities Chamber PULSE Young Professionals Network. “PULSE and the Fox Cities Chamber are excited to shine a light on area businesses that generate a supportive and positive work environment for our YPs. RGL Logistics is a company that leads by example and invests in their YPs to grow not only their teammates, but their business.”
