Prevea welcomes podiatrist, Dr. Joseph Albers

Now caring for patients in Green Bay and Grand Chute

Albers Joseph cropped smlPrevea is pleased to welcome Joseph Albers, DPM, to its team of foot and ankle surgeons at Prevea Health located at 3750 N. Investors Court in Grand Chute and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay.

A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Albers specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery; arthroscopic procedures; cartilage restoration; ligament stabilization; total ankle replacement; bunion correction; hammertoe correction; diabetic foot, ingrown nail and wart care; arthritis affecting the foot and ankle; sports medicine, ligament and tendon injuries; minimally invasive procedures; and trauma and fractures of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Albers, a native of Green Bay, prides himself on understanding his patients’ needs to be active and pain free, whether that be for sports, work or hobbies. He provides the highest level of care to his patients, rooted in the belief that a high sense of work ethic and values are the basis of the community he serves.

“When working with patients, my goal is to actively listen to their concerns, understand how it is affecting their daily life, educate them on their ailment and help guide them to the best treatment option unique to them,” said Dr. Albers. “Ultimately I want to get them back to what they want to do in their daily life as soon and with as little pain as possible.”

Dr. Albers earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Ascension Wisconsin. He is certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
