Tickets Now Available for Music-Filled Celebration in Downtown Appleton on December 30
Returning for an eighth event and for the first since 2019, Mile of Music’s New Year’s Encore Eve EVE will take place at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley on December 30, 2022 with some fan-favorite acts from Mile 9 on hand to ring – and sing! – in 2023.
Three acts will be headlining this year’s event, with all three artists having been featured at August’s Mile 9! Nashville’s GYASI wowed festival-goers across four different venues at this year’s festival, including the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Courtyard, and his first record, “Pronounced Jah-See,” is available now.
The Astronomers (Fond du Lac) are a pair of area guys making big waves, packing venues like the Paper Valley Ballroom main stage and a rain-soaked Lawrence Lawn at Mile 9, and climbing to over 230,000 monthly Spotify listeners since the fest! They will be on the road post-NYE(E) playing Miami’s The Rock Boat XXII in January as well as stops in Iowa, Kentucky and more. Their debut album, “The Occasion,” is out now.
Meaghan Farrell (Harrisburg, PA) is the “veteran” of the group, having played both Mile 8 and Mile 9. Throughout her stints in Appleton, Farrell has gained a host of new fans, or “MF’ers” as she endearingly refers to them, and the Mile team is thrilled to have her joining GYASI and The Astronomers to help close out 2022!

Along with the original music, a number of past New Year’s Encore Eve activity favorites will be making a return, including the coffee and chocolate lounge serving up sweet treats from Crazy Sweet and java from Trilliant. The popular prize wheel will be back as well, featuring dozens of door prizes from Downtown businesses and the Mile of Music Merch vault.
Tickets for the event at the Hilton Appleton Hotel Paper Valley are on sale now. Tickets are $30 for the general public, with a discounted price for Music-Makers and Mile of Music Volunteers. Tickets will be $35 the day of the event. For more information, visit mileofmusic.com.
Doors open at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and the music starts at 8 p.m. This event is an all-ages event.
