We introduce creatives to the business side of creativity. Our mission is to support artisans and makers who want to sell and promote their handmade work. We provide education, workshops, support, and resources on business practices while fostering a community for learning and growing together on their own unique entrepreneurial journeys.
Makers Together was started by creatives learning to navigate the landscape of handmade business. Because they couldn’t find a group that discussed the unique topics their businesses face, a community was created that shared ideas, experiences and gives advice through the lens of the creative entrepreneur.
Now, five years later, those weekly virtual get-togethers have grown into a non-profit organization with a system of educational presentations, virtual coworking, networking, and workshops. We’re proud of how far this organization has grown, and we’d like to celebrate our anniversary with the whole community.
