Mark your calendars and make your way to beautiful downtown Menasha – Your Place on the Water – for a party that’s been 150 years in the making.
The Celebrate Menasha Festival, June 21-22, 2024, features great food, family fun, live music and the Valley’s first ever drone show. Activities begin at 5 p.m. on Friday and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. It’s free to attend and all are welcome to help us celebrate this milestone in our community’s history.
Friday’s live music schedule on the Community First Credit Union Main Stage features the headlining act, “Hot Rod Huey & the B-sides: the music of Huey Lewis.” On Saturday, the celebration kicks off at 1:00 pm with an authors panel on Menasha. At 3 p.m. grab your Kayak and meet at Jefferson Park for our Paddle the Canal music event. Kayaks and other paddle boats will follow a pontoon boat hosting the band BRAINSTEWED. At 5 p.m. head back downtown for more great music on the Community First Credit Union Stage, building to the 8 p.m. can’t-miss performance from Project Pink, one of the Midwest’s premiere Pink Floyd tribute bands. Their show features full production and authentic props.
On both nights when the skies turn dark, turn your eyes upward for a dazzling display. Our drone shows, presented by Menasha Corporation, will feature over 150 lighted drones in a brilliant, choreographed presentation.
Our Kids Zone, presented by Faith Technologies Inc., will include carnival rides and midway games. Performers from Mischief & Magic will entertain passersby, and visitors can enjoy face painting, henna tattoos, balloon animals, and more.
Make sure to bring an appetite, as the Gold Cross Ambulance Service Food Court will feature a wide variety of delicious fare from popular local food trucks.
Menasha was incorporated as a city on March 5, 1874 and has a rich history stretching from its early national significance as an industrial hub to its modern-day trails and waterfront amenities that make it an ideal place to live, work, and play.
