Fox Communities Credit Union has been named a PULSE Champion of Young Professionals (YPs) by the Fox Cities Chamber. This designation recognizes employers who pledge to provide support and a positive work environment for YPs within their company.
Fox Communities Credit Union is over 85 years strong and today serves more than 115,000 members with 22 branches throughout Northeast Wisconsin. As a member-owned financial institution, Fox prioritizes people over profits and has made a commitment to remain vital in the communities they serve, through support and involvement. Their mission is to partner with members, communities, and Fox family to build stronger financial futures. Fox has over 475 dedicated team members and more than $2.5 billion in assets.
The culture at Fox Communities is one that captivates and retains young talent. At Fox, team members are encouraged to live their purpose and align their personal passions with their professional development. Leadership and teammates alike are supportive, invested, and helpful toward each other, pushing YPs to explore, learn, and grow. The life-friendly approach provided by Fox, coupled with ongoing recognition and celebration, helps create a positive working environment for the team at Fox.
“The credit union has a passion for helping people in our communities, that starts with our own team. We have been focusing on growth and development for our Fox team members by providing tuition support and encouraging career development exploration. Our team member-centric approach and our organizational values help support the mission of the YP group though the Fox Cities Chamber”, said Heather Wessley, Director of Community Engagement at Fox Communities Credit Union.
“As a young professional, Pulse provides avenues of opportunities that I wouldn’t typically have. Fox has a mission and passion for helping people in our communities. This alignment through Fox Communities Credit Union and Pulse, helps me grow, learn, and give back to organizations throughout the Fox Valley, said Luke Freitag, Community Relations Specialist.
Any Fox Cities company can apply to be classified as a PULSE Champion of Young Professionals and pledge to provide support and a positive work environment for YPs within their company.
“Without our area young professionals and those that support them, the ability for the Fox Cities to grow and thrive would be limited,” said Jodie Federwitz, Director, Fox Cities Chamber PULSE Young Professionals Network. “PULSE and the Fox Cities Chamber are excited to shine a light on area businesses that generate a supportive and positive work environment for our YPs. Fox Communities Credit Union is a business that supports their team members and encourages growth and education.
