Division of Faith Technologies Incorporated supports rapid growth data center and clean energy industries

Excellerate, a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI) and an industry-leading innovator of manufactured electrical components and assemblies, has opened its new 385,000-square-foot smart manufacturing facility in Little Chute, Wisconsin. The new facility utilizes clean energy technologies to lower carbon emissions with the goal of reaching net zero in the future.

Work within the facility is concentrated on constructing modular electrical buildings (MEBs), which are fully integrated electrical modules utilized in the rapidly growing data center market. MEBs are fully self-contained electrical units that can be quickly deployed into data centers, eliminating the majority of on-site electrical work. The facility also supports the continued growth of renewable energy technologies.

“Our Excellerate work has been growing exponentially over the past several years as our customers are seeing the value in the high-quality modular work we provide,” said Pat McGettigan, executive vice president of Excellerate. “By moving electrical work to a controlled manufacturing environment when possible, we save our partners time and money, while providing the safest, most productive workspace for our team members.”

Excellerate operates five manufacturing facilities nationwide: the new Little Chute facility, as well as Appleton, Neenah and Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Olathe, Kansas.

“We’re proud to be expanding our footprint in Wisconsin and have already hired more than 100 new team members to work in our Little Chute facility,” said Mike Jansen, CEO of Faith Technologies Incorporated. “The safe, controlled manufacturing environment supports a diverse workforce, and with our focus on new technologies and increased automation, we’ve built a more productive, smarter and safer workplace than ever before.”

Excellerate is still seeking experienced team members to fill key positions for its growing organizational needs, including electricians, millwrights, superintendents and systems technicians. Entry-level logistics specialists and assembler positions are also available, with career-path training provided. FTI has a strong apprenticeship program as well, with opportunities to earn while learning the electrical trade.

The project was led by Solvare, a capital development business that integrates teams of like-minded companies to develop assets based on a shared vision of success. This project included partners Faith TechnologiesThe Boldt CompanyMcMahon and Tweet/Garot Mechanical Inc. The Excellerate facility is a model demonstrating the future of construction and development, with partners invested in collectively impacting productivity and supply chain issues through design and long-term operations.
