Capital Credit Union is hosting a Local Heroes softball game on Sunday, July 14, at the Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. This event will feature volunteers from local police, fire, and EMS organizations competing in a friendly softball match to honor and celebrate the individuals who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.
Prior to the Timber Rattlers game at 12:30 PM, there will be a check presentation to acknowledge Capital Credit Union’s 2024 Elevate Communities recipients. Over $100,000 was given to the selected recipients of this funding program. The Timber Rattlers will play at 1:10 PM, with the Local Heroes softball game scheduled to follow around 4 PM.
Admission to the Local Heroes game is free with the purchase of a ticket to the Timber Rattlers game. Tickets can be purchased on the Timber Rattlers’ website. Additionally, funds raised from the Capital Credit Union slide during the Timber Rattlers game will be donated to local police, fire, and EMS organizations, to offer additional support to those who serve our communities.
Steve Zich (Chief Marketing Officer), Lydia Lynch (AVP of Marketing), and Laurie Butz (President & CEO of Capital Credit Union) will be available for interviews following the check presentation, and after the Timber Rattlers game prior to the start of the Local Heroes game.
