Join Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass for our second annual GLASS Arts Festival, August 12, 2023, 10am–5pm. “Focusing on our mission to provide extraordinary glass experiences, we are excited to offer our widely popular GLASS Arts Festival featuring the best in glass once again, admission free to our community, “ says Amy G. Moorefield, Executive Director.
Browse the grounds and galleries and enjoy an admission free family-friendly lakeside day. Take in glass art on display and available for sale from 43 artists from around the country.* The event will also feature the opening of a solo exhibition by the first place winner of last year’s juried GLASS Arts Festival Award, Wes Hunting.
Festival attendees will witness glass blowing demonstrations with our new mini-dragon, “Ray,” as molten glass temperatures climb to over 2,000° F. Entertainment will be provided by local musicians, while food trucks from Osario Latin Fusion, Inferno Heat Hibachi, Papa John’s Pizza, Smokehound BBQ, and many more will be on hand when hunger strikes. Activity tents for the kids will keep young ones engaged and creating their own art to bring home.
