
Officials at the Appleton International Airport announce that Scott Volberding has been promoted to assistant airport director. In this position, he will be responsible for daily operation, planning, security, and capital improvement projects at the airport. Previously he was the operations and maintenance manager and director of operations for the airport and has more than 27 years of experience in general aviation. He is a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). He earned a degree in Airway Science Management from the University of North Dakota and is a licensed private pilot.
