Excellence in Education Awards | Fox Cities Chamber

Second Annual EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION SHINING STAR AWARDS

The Excellence in Education Shining Star Awards program is an all-inclusive K-16 event to recognize the outstanding achievements of educators in the Fox Cities region. A skilled workforce of tomorrow relies on high quality education today, and this event acknowledges and celebrates the unparalleled contributions of educators working and shining in Fox Cities’ schools, colleges, universities and other educational settings.

We are planning and hoping for an in-person event on Thursday, April 29, 2021! If we cannot safely be together by April, we will celebrate our outstanding educators with physically distant and safe surprise visits, and livestream and/or pre-record the presentation of awards and acceptance speeches.

We have added a much deserved award category for 2021, Heroes in COVID-19. This award will go to a school community who shined brightly together during the overwhelming challenges of COVID-19, and demonstrated best practices in instruction delivery, safety and well-being of students and staff, and innovative programming and services to meet the needs of students.
