FOX CITIES, Wis. (June 28, 2021) – Fox Cities Days, the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce’s popular workforce attraction program on Midwestern college campuses, will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich., and Tuesday, Sept. 28 the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Fox Cities Chamber officials have worked closely with representatives from both institutions to ensure in-person recruiting events may be safely held on their campuses this fall, and the organization has now received the green light to begin signing up participants.
“We’re really excited that we were able to make these events happen, and especially since our dates for these events are going to be ahead of each university’s career fair,” said Sara Hathaway, Director of Talent and K-16 Relations at the Chamber. “This will be a really unique opportunity for our region’s employers to recruit some of the Midwest’s best and brightest talent for both internships and full-time roles. It will also be our opportunity to present a unified message that the Fox Cities is a great place to live, work, and play.”
All regional employers are invited to participate, though recruiting opportunities will be especially focused in the areas of engineering, health care, computer science, cybersecurity, and construction management.
Registration is available online at http://foxcitieschamber.com/talent/fox-cities-days-fox-cities-chamber/ or by contacting Hathaway at 920.734.7101 or email@example.com. Cost for Chamber members is $450 each or $800 to attend both events. For nonmembers the cost is $550 each or $1,000 for both. High-visibility sponsorship opportunities are also available.
