Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes is pleased to announce the hiring of Megan Schuessler as our new Chief Development Officer. Megan comes to Girl Scouts from the ThedaCare Family of Foundations where she was the Regional Development Director for their rural hospital communities. She brings more than eight years of nonprofit marketing and fundraising experience with her to this role.

“I look forward to being a part of the Girl Scout Movement and believe it is more important than ever that our mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character continues, especially in the face of the challenges the past year has brought upon girls and women” said Megan.

Megan earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She is currently pursuing her CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential. She also volunteers her time to many community nonprofits, including local parks, Community Clothes Closet, Fox West YMCA, and her local Association of Fundraising Professionals chapter.

Megan resides in Greenville, Wisconsin with her husband, two young sons, and eleven-year-old black and tan coonhound rescue dog. During her free time, she enjoys running, traveling with her family, and attending college and professional sporting events for all Wisconsin sports teams. She looks forward to meeting our supporters and can be reached at mschuessler@gsnwgl.org.

“We are very fortunate to have Megan on the team, and welcome the knowledge and expertise she brings to support the Girl Scout Movement.” Helen Wronski, Interim CEO.
