Capital Credit Union’s Elevate Communities program is an initiative which supports projects brought forward by civic organizations located in Northeastern Wisconsin. The goal of this program is to fill a financial gap that may prevent a community from obtaining items or doing projects of need. Many of these tools or projects are out of reach for many departments. To that end, Capital is once again working to fulfill those needs and assist in creating safer communities.
Capital President and CEO Tom Young believes it is a fantastic way to give back to local organizations, “What a better way to thank our Police, Fire and Rescue Departments, given the budget constraints they are under, than to make their jobs easier and maybe safer as well. These donations are meant to show appreciation for the tough jobs they do and to help keep our communities safe.”
This year, Elevate Communities is providing over $100,000 worth of funding to a number of organizations. Since the inception of this program in 2018, $400,000 have been given to police and fire departments all throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. We are proud and hope to continue to enhance the quality of life in our communities.
