Alison Hutchinson, a group sales manager with the Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau (FCCVB), has been selected as the 2020-2021 president of the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Wisconsin Chapter.

“I am excited to take on the role as the MPI Wisconsin Chapter president. It is an honor to be leading this organization,” Hutchinson said.

MPI Wisconsin brings meetings industry professionals together to learn best practices, network and leverage opportunities for their businesses and careers. The board of directors focuses on providing high quality education for continued professional development, engaging members as active volunteers in the chapter, connecting members through networking events for business success and growing emerging leaders to continue the tradition. The Wisconsin chapter has a membership of more than 300 planners and suppliers and is part of an international network of more than 65,000 meetings professionals.

As president, Hutchinson said she hopes to share new ideas and resources, support members and provide an uplifting place for professionals – in an industry hit especially hard by the ongoing coronavirus situation.
