The COVID-19 CEO Leadership Series of Webinars continue this Friday, April 17, from
11 a.m.-12 noon with the perspective of well-known Wisconsin businessmen Dan Ariens and Greg Frank. There is no cost to participate.
Dan Ariens is chairman and CEO of AriensCo, a manufacturer of outdoor power equipment for the consumer and commercial markets. First established in 1933, the privately owned company is based within the New North, in Brillion, Wisconsin.
Greg Frank is vice president and managing partner of FoodFight Restaurant Group, an operator of several unique and diverse restaurants in greater Madison, Wisconsin.
The webinars are made available through a collaboration between the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and the state Regional Leadership Council, comprised of the nine economic development organizations, which includes New North Inc. Wisconsin business and health leaders each week will provide the latest medical updates and offer insights into how companies are adapting their operations to the COVID-19 pandemic.
WEDC Secretary & CEO Missy Hughes and John Raymond, MD, president & CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin, headline the agenda for all five webinars. They will be joined each week by two Wisconsin CEOs, who will offer their personal perspectives on business activities and best practices which can benefit webinar participants and their companies. A question-and-answer period will close each session.
“New North is ready and available to help businesses and organizations within our region who are feeling the business effects of the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Barb LaMue, executive director of New North Inc., the regional marketing and economic development corporation for the 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin. “We know that New North companies are facing extreme challenges, including supply-chain disruptions and unprecedented changes in product demands, along with supporting their existing workforce in any way possible.
“New North, Inc., also will play a leading role with State and local partners as our region transitions from crisis to recovery mode. We know that collaboration and communication will be essential during this process,” continues LaMue.
