They have done so much for us and our community. Now it’s our turn to help them.

That is the stance Mountain Dog Media local radio stations 107.1 The Bull (WFON) and KFIZ are taking amid everything happening in the community right now.

“In times of crises it is so important that we come together,” said Randy Hopper, owner of Mountain Dog Medial. “I have personally seen the communities we serve act in the most unselfish manner possible when we see our neighbors, family and friends in need.”

Local restaurants and bars are cornerstones of the community and right now as many close their doors during this scary time they need help from all of us, Hopper said.

Effective March 19, 2020, 107.1 The Bull and KFIZ launched the Valley Service Industry Worker Relief Fund aimed at providing all of the relief they can to service industry workers who are without an income right now.

“The service industry makes up so much of our local economy,” said Alex Mann, Brand Manager for 107.1 The Bull and KFIZ. “Nearly all of us know someone personally who has been brought to tears because they don’t know how they are going to pay rent, pay their utility bills, buy groceries, and take care of their everyday essentials.”

Please visit or 107.1The Bull on Facebook to learn how you can provide economic relief to the Valley’s service industry. It’s quick, it’s easy, and most of all, every single dollar adds up.

“(We) are asking our community of listeners to assist and make even the smallest donation possible, as it will add up,” Mann said. “We’re all in this together and if we all do our part, we will weather this crisis in a much more positive fashion.”

There are incentives available for local businesses who are in the position to generously donate $500 or more, including a match for an advertising campaign on The Bull and KFIZ.

“I think there is no better time to live our promise at Mountain Dog Media to be a not just for profit company,” Hopper added. “That is why I have asked our dedicated team to do whatever we can do to help those most affected by COVID-19.”
