Unison Credit Union Hires Chad Van Handel as Chief Lending Officer

Van Handel brings 16 years of banking experience

Unison Credit Union, a full-service financial institution serving Northeast Wisconsin, is proud to announce Chad Van Handel as the new chief lending officer. Van Handel will oversee all operations of the Financial Services area, including consumer lending, business lending and member services.

“Chad’s financial expertise, experience and leadership skills are impressive,” said Mark Hietpas, Unison Credit Union president and CEO. “His strong background and extensive knowledge of different types of lending will greatly benefit our membership and staff.”

Previously with Huntington National Bank, Van Handel has 16 years of banking experience with a focus on commercial lending. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Carroll University and a master’s in business administration from Marquette University. He serves on the Board for On Broadway, Inc. in Green Bay and has also been involved with Junior Achievement for the past 15 years.
