Weston Timmers named to Top 30 Under 35 in electrical industry

Weston Timmers, Controllers Product Manager at Werner Electric Supply, is named to the top rising stars of the electrical industry, a ranking awarded by tED Magazine. The award for the Top 30 under 35 was presented at the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) conference in early October. There were 150 nominations for the award nationwide.

Timmers has been employed at Werner Electric since 2012 and has held positions in technical support and as a product specialist where he helped customers design and implement automation. Most recently he moved into a leadership role to grow one of the largest business units at Werner Electric in automation and digital integration in manufacturing. He recently was the leader of Werner Electric’s IN4M conference which featured sessions and displays on automation, robotics, and digital transformation of industry.

Timmers holds a degree in computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee and is a Cisco certified Industrial Networking Specialist.
