Project identifies best places to work in Manufacturing
Werner Electric Supply is partnering with Insight Publications to conduct a comprehensive benchmarking survey for manufacturers statewide ranking Wisconsin’s “Best Places to Work in Manufacturing.” The initiative will identify cultures that make employees proud to be a part of the manufacturing workforce and is being conducted by the Workforce Research Group.
Participating employers will be asked to fill out an in-depth questionnaire about their company, while employees are asked to answer survey questions. Responses will be combined to provide information needed to rank among the best places to work in manufacturing. In order to be included, companies must meet these criteria:
- Companies must be a manufacturing operation
- Have at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Wisconsin
- Have a physical operation in Wisconsin
- Are publicly or privately held organization
- Have been in business for at least one year, at the program registration deadline
“Manufacturing is the driver of the Wisconsin economy,” said Craig Wiedemeier, President of Werner Electric. “We are excited to be a partner in this effort to identify the top performing manufacturing companies in our state and provide valuable information for job seekers.”
“We anticipate the results of this survey will clearly identify the organizational cultures that are the future of manufacturing in our state,” said Brian Rasmussen, publisher of Insight publications.
There is no cost for employers to participate, and all surveys will be conducted from February-March 2024. The deadline for employers to participate in the survey is February 2, 2024. The results of the surveys will be made public in July of 2024. For more information on registration and the survey process, please visit this link.
