Prevea Health to offer free, virtual newborn care classes

Prevea Pediatrics is holding free, virtual newborn care classes in February, April and June for Prevea patients and community members.

  • What to expect in the hospital when baby is born
  • Newborn characteristics
  • Skin conditions
  • When to call the doctor
  • Swaddling
  • Skin-to-skin contact
  • Feeding – patterns, how much, burping, etc.
  • Sleeping
  • What your baby’s cries mean
  • Bathing

With more than one opportunity to tune in, you can choose the date that works for you. All classes are held via Zoom from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
