Marcus Koehl of Consolidated Construction joins New North board

Brings two decades of experience in key industries of construction and financial services

Marcus Koehl of Consolidated Construction has been named to the board of directors of New North Inc., the regional economic development corporation for the 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin. Advanced by New North’s board development committee and subsequently approved by the full board at its January meeting, his board term begins on March 1.

“Marcus is a lifelong resident of the area, who has deep connections to companies across the New North region,” says Barb LaMue, president and CEO of New North Inc. “His perspective from both the construction and financial services industries will be invaluable to our board.”

Marcus Koehl is the chief financial officer of Consolidated Construction Co., Inc., a provider of diversified construction services headquartered in Appleton. He joined the firm as its CFO in June 2024 following a 19-year career with Wipfli, a top 20 accounting and business consulting firm in the U.S. with significant operations in the New North region. At Wipfli, Koehl served in audit and client advisory roles.

A Northeast Wisconsin native, he holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Norbert College.
