Avenue of Ice returns to Downtown Appleton starting Friday, February 23, 2024. This well-attended, annual event features beautiful ice carvings sponsored by our Downtown businesses and Downtown supporters. Each sculpture is a piece of art, which serves as an amazing photo opportunity for our Downtown visitors. The 30 unique ice sculptures made by Krystal Kleer Ice Sculptures, LLC will remain up as the weather allows.
Avenue of Ice is a great opportunity to create memories in Downtown Appleton, while shopping, dining and exploring everything we have to offer. Many small businesses, restaurants, and bars along the route offer great products to help you keep warm this winter. Items such as cozy hoodies, mittens, candles and hot chocolate are just a few of the products you will find Downtown.

Additionally, the Appleton Downtown Pop-Up Winter Market will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Pop-Up Winter Market is an exciting new twist on the Winter Market! Visitors can stroll College Avenue to shop with their favorite market vendors inside multiple Downtown businesses.
