A-mazing Events, a leading full-service event management business established in 2005, announces the appointment of Kaitlyn Bilkey and Alexa Nettekoven as Event Coordinators.
As event coordinators, Bilkey and Nettekoven provide critical support to project managers by overseeing event timelines, coordinating vendor logistics and managing on-site event operations. They use their strong problem-solving skills to ensure every event runs smoothly, no matter the challenge.
“I enjoy that the job allows me to use my creativity and that it also involves logistics,” Bilkey said. “I like meeting with clients and helping them prepare their agenda, help them develop a theme, make sure they have what they need for the event and deal with suppliers and vendors.”
Prior to joining A-mazing Events, Bilkey graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an associate’s degree in event planning and completed an internship with the PGA Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas. She said working on the PGA Shriners Children’s Open was a huge learning opportunity.
“Being on an event of that scale helped prepare me for heavy workloads and being on top of things,” Bilkey said. “At FVTC, all the classes directly impacted what I am doing here. The classes helped me a lot with handling logistics.”
Nettekoven is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she majored in communications. Prior to joining A-mazing Events, she worked at an event rental business and in sports promotions for the Green Bay Packers, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.
“I love planning events and then seeing how things come together,” she said. “When I worked in sports promotion, there was a lot of planning, and it was great watching everything play out.”
A native of Kaukauna, Nettekoven said the A-mazing Events team has been welcoming.
“The people I work with have made the transition smooth and provided me with a lot of support, helping to answer questions,” she said.
