Client Solutions Manager
Cybersecurity Enthusiast, Aslinn Merriman is a Client Solutions Manager with Omni, a local IT staffing and consulting employee owned company. Outside of work she is a cybersecurity enthusiast, having recently moved from North Carolina to Wisconsin in the end of March. Aslinn previously worked for Cisco Systems in the Security & Trust organization where data protection and privacy were top of mind. The exposure to cybersecurity themes and information created a new IT passion; cyber security. Her love for all things technology has been fuelled by an insatiable curiosity to keep learning and growing. Aslinn started her technology journey in a small rural telco in Montana, that was looking to partner with schools who were struggling to fulfil their foreign language curriculums. She helped design a video program that offered the schools the ability to deliver Spanish and French to fulfil the missing credits needed to graduate. Learning about video, networking, protocols and all things hardware, she is now challenging herself to learn the principals of coding. “Having a hardware background, coding is a very different dynamic.”
Aslinn has her bachelor’s in Business Administration with a minor in Management Information Systems, from Montana State University-Northern and a Master of Information Systems from Abo Akademi, in Turku, Finland.
In her spare time Aslinn is an avid runner, who can often be caught running in the great outdoors and spending time with her family.
Aslinn’s education includes a MIS-Abo Akademi emphasis in Electronic and Mobile Commerce Thesis on ‘The Effects of Mobile Phone Recycling Globally,’
