The Fox Valley Workforce Development Board, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit based in Neenah with a focus on workforce training and job search strategies, has announced the immediate closure of the Berlin Job Center.

In light of the continued concern over the COVID-19 virus, the building’s landlord has made the difficult decision to close its doors to all non-employees, as a way to further reduce community spread. This has resulted in the closure of the Berlin Job Center at 237 Broadway Street, Berlin, Wis. The center will remain closed for the foreseeable future, with no re-opening date set.

Individuals who need to file for unemployment insurance or seek jobs, are encouraged to visit jobcenterofwisconsin.com. Doing this online allows you to remain in your home and reduce the chances of becoming sick or infecting others.

For those requiring assistance, there are many American Job Centers still open in Wisconsin. We ask, for everyone’s safety, you not venture out if experiencing any cold or flu symptoms. Please bring your own wipes or hand sanitizer and remain at least six feet apart from other individuals. A list of open job centers is found here: https://dwd.wisconsin.gov/covid19/public/det.htm.
