The Fox Cities Regional Partnership, the economic development division of the Fox Cities Chamber, announces its second annual Fox Cities Benefit Survey in an effort to help local employers to stay competitive in the marketplace and make the Fox Cities more competitive as a region. To encourage mass participation in the comprehensive survey, organizations who complete the online survey by August 31 will receive a complementary digital copy of the survey’s results by November 1.
A national employee benefits study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) reported that “Employee retention (72%) and recruiting (58%) were the top reasons for increasing benefit offerings.” A comprehensive package including wages, benefits and culture, is what influences employees to remain in a position or pursue new opportunities. The goal of this survey is to gauge the competitiveness of currently offered benefits, as well as inspire employers to brainstorm ways to increase employee satisfaction. A thoughtful benefits package can increase productivity, attract new talent and reduce turnover.
Additional links and resources are available at foxcitiesregion.com, including salary information for occupations. This data is collected by the U.S. Government and is able to be broken down by state and county.
