New North Workplace Excellence Award applications being accepted

Initial submissions for 2019 honor must be received by 5 p.m. on June 28 for consideration

Applications now are being accepted for the 2019 New North Workplace Excellence Award. The honor, in its 11th year, recognizes organizations within the 18-county New North region which are improving their competitive advantage through people practices that lead to successful business results.

 

 

A collaboration between New North Inc. and Right Management, businesses are measured on employee engagement, business outcomes and overall success in evaluating award submissions.

 

 

The 2019 application process for the New North Workplace Excellence Award consists of three phases. Phase 1, due by 5:00 p.m. CDT on June 28, requires an organization to complete a brief statement of consideration, found here: http://bit.ly/NNWorkplaceExcellence2019. Responses should be emailed to lisa.smith@right.com.

 

 

Phase II qualifiers will be informed on July 19 and invited to submit a detailed application by August 16. Phase III finalists will be notified on August 30, which will be followed by a site visit by the award’s judging committee to select the winner(s).

 

 

The 2019 winner(s) of the New North Workplace Excellence Award will be announced at the annual New North Summit, to be held Dec. 5 at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.

 

 

Organizations located within the New North region are eligible to apply. Counties within New North are Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Marquette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago. Companies do not need to be headquartered in New North to be eligible, but must have a division or location within the region.

 

 

Recent winners of the New North Workplace Excellence Award include Schneider (2018); American Transmission Company, Expera Specialty Solutions and Werner Electric Supply (2017); Foth (2016); Oshkosh Corporation (2015); and U.S. Venture, Inc. (2014).
